State Sen. Sue Rezin, R-Morris, is teaming up with other area lawmakers and local officials to host a “Coffee and Conversation,” an informal forum where constituents can talk to officials about topics important to them, ask questions, and receive updates on legislation, projects, and issues.
Rezin is hosting her Coffee and Conversation on Friday, Oct. 20 at Minooka Village Hall at 121 McEvilly Road from 5-7 p.m. She’ll be joined by State Rep. David Welter (R-Morris), Minooka Mayor Pat Brennan, and Dan Duffy, Minooka Village Administrator.
“This is a great opportunity for constituents to speak one-on-one with their elected officials about issues important to them,” Rezin said in a press release. “This isn’t a formal town hall style event. It’s simply come whenever you can, stop in, and if you have a question or concern, then make sure you talk to us. I look forward to meeting more of my constituents and personally hearing what is important to them in their community.”
Coffee and soft drinks will be provided at the event, which is free and open to the public.
